Once you change your mindset from salesman to CEO, that is when the shift to success will happen in your real estate business.
Here are some tips to help you make that shift:
โจUnderstand the importance of working on your mindset & flex that muscle everyday through meditation and journaling
โจStop looking at your commission as your net income - have a plan to reinvest in your business and put away for taxes.
โจHire a mentorโฆ this could be a couch or a couching group.
โจSurround yourself with people that have already found success (that aligns with your definition of success).
โจHave an accountability/mastermind group - from different areas of businesses.
โจHave a growth mindset VS a fixed mindset
โจStop trying to do everything - outsource where you arenโt an expert or itโs something you donโt enjoy
โจUnderstand your worth (I like to set an hourly rate for myself). Use this to calculate your return on time
โจScheduling time to plan
โจ Be decisive & learn to say no

๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ (repeat this in first person) I am not an order taker, I am a consultant, a professional in my field. I am sought after for my expert advice as a real estate professional.
And in the end your brand is how you make someone feel.....
The crazy schedule of real estate comes in waves (well, sometimes that wave may not stop for years). Often times in this profession we find ourselves working around the clock, first thing in the morning at 6 AM and then burning the midnight oil with no break in between. And I get it, we have to take advantage of those busy times because we donโt know when weโll get another offer.
Recently I found myself working nonstop around the clock, when I finally poured my glass of wine at 7 oโclock one night I had another email to get to. I was burned out, and it showed in my tone, in my lack of detail, I literally had nothing left.
It is so important to prioritize YOU and sometimes that means letting things roll over to the next day when you are fresh. I stress the importance of this because how you show up becomes your brand. Whether you intend for this to be your brand or not, it will still define you. So if youโve worked yourself to the bone with no break, youโll become frustrated and exhausted and the next person you talk to will get the brunt of this.... and the way you talk to them, the lack of attention you give them because you are too busy, the mistakes you make in an offer will define you.
And in the end, your brand is how you make someone feel! XXXX happy branding
